Family Tree of Car Manufacturers

The world of auto manufacturers have a confusing family trees. Car companies own bits and pieces of each other, while others frequently share parts, platforms and even entire cars. While a brand like Chevrolet is 100 percent General Motors, a company like Suzuki is independent financially yet builds cars that are heavily based on GM products. On the flip side, Toyota owns a stake in Subaru but has nothing to do with its products.

  2. Since you mentioned about cars in your post, I thought I may as well try my luck and ask you this question. I have a young friend who’s migrating with the family to Japan, and he would like to know what’s the min and max age in that country to drive a car. Do you happen to know the answer? 🙂

  3. thanks good info…..

  4. Yes Ashish!! At the end of 2007, the formal announcement was delayed until 25 March 2008, it became generally known that India’s Tata Group had completed arrangements to purchase Jaguar and Daimler.

  5. First off I want to say awesome blog! I had a quick question in
which I’d like to ask if you do not mind. I was interested to find out how you center yourself and clear your thoughts before writing. I’ve had a difficult
time clearing my mind in getting my thoughts out there.

I do take pleasure in writing but it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes are wasted
just trying to figure out how to begin. Any recommendations or hints?
    Thank you!
